Y'all are so goddamn late. We were posting this stuff in the Michael Brown thread. It's practically over now.

I don't condone this kind of violence, but it's about time that the public became a bit more aware and active about the rampant police corruption in this country.

Just for those who don't know, two JOURNALISTS were arrested for not packing their bags fast enough at a McDonalds...one was slammed against a drink dispenser...they were released without charges later, but the police department REFUSED to give the names of the officers.
Also, those reporters heard a black man in the back of a police car screaming for paramedics saying he was dying, but the police were mocking him.

I'll believe it when I see some actual proof.

There's proof of the arrest, but not of them being arrested for no reason. Not complying with an officer is a crime and I'm not just going to give them the benefit of the doubt because they said "they did nothing." Till they give some proof/prove their case in court, I refuse to make a judgement on either side of the case. I know how reporters can be and I know how police officers can be

This is disgusting

Michael Brown was killed. From witness accounts, he was totally innocent. The police statements have changed so many times (first he had committed petty theft at Quick Trip, then he fought the officer for the gun, today the officer had a "swollen face," etc.) that you can't help but side with Michael Brown. People are PISSED here.

They seem to have stopped.

The first night, they lit Quick Trip on fire (the one that supposedly reported Michael Brown for theft) and it's a gas station next to apartment complexes. They also robbed a hair salon, looted the Quick Trip, looted Auto Zone and stomped an employee, broke in to a shoe store, etc. The next day they started breaking in to houses, looted a Taco Bell and stomped an employee and during the night they looted a Shoe Carnival in South City (a completely different part of town). 8 looters have been arrested and had absolutely no connection to Ferguson at all.

Today a protester got shot in the forehead (and survived, somehow) and she seems to think it was some of the looters
