Quote:
The Three Stooges come full circle as the cameras started rolling in Atlanta on May 9th for the new The Three Stooges movie with Peter & Bobby Farrelly directing from their script (with Mike Cerrone also collaborating on the script) for 20th Century Fox.
C3 Entertainment, Inc., the home of The Three Stooges is highly involved of course, with Earl and Robert Benjamin, C3's President and Executive VP serving as Executive Producers for the film.
The 'full circle' aspect is that the first film the Three Stooges made was for Fox: 1930's Soup To Nuts. The Boys also made their one and only Technicolor CinemaScope feature for Fox: 1961's Snow White And The Three Stooges.
As many fans know, this film has been in the works for some time. The goal has always been to make a film that is not only true to The Three Stooges legacy but to also extend the legacy and present The Boys to modern movie goers who seek true comedy entertainment.
The commitment to the project from C3 and Fox plus the blend of The Three Stooges unique slapstick and comedic genius with the proven talent of the Farrelly Brothers as comedy film makers will give all fans, old and new, a fun and laugh out loud viewing experience when the movie hits the theaters in 2012.
