Taylor more powerful than Beyoncé and Jay Z combined?
I used to think that Beyoncé and Jay Z were the most powerful people in music.
I've been truly ignorant and now I realize that Taylor Swift is the most powerful person in music.
The fact the she changed the entire industry with one tumblr post. Enlighten me with your thoughts.
Do you agree? Frankly, I think you have to at this point.
Because if you ask yourself the question "Would Taylor succeed if she created Tidal instead of Jay Z and Beyonce?" The answer would still definitely be no.
Beyonce and Jay Z are trying to establish a company from the ground while Taylor is trying to get the biggest company in the world to fairly compensate artists for 3 months. Both are very different.
She's up there but not yet. She's still to basic artistically and I literally see no one talking about her but boring people and gay guys. She's got integrity though.
