I want to be let in on the joke. The recurring HIV joke on ATRL and possibly other forums. I won't question too much why people find it funny. I mean, if that's where your sense of humour lies then slay, I guess. But can someone with said sense of humour explain to me where the fun of the joke ends and begins?



I genuinely don't understand. I genuinely don't get what is funny about it, and if I were suffering from HIV or knew someone personally who did, I would be mortified upon seeing it being used. I'm very sure not everyone on this forum is negative. There are thousands and thousands of members. And this isn't just about referring to a stanbase as a disease - but the jokes and laughter over it contribute to the feelings of stigmatization.

So anyways, can someone point me to the direction of the actual joke?
