I simply am gay. Millions of other people are gay, and it's normal. Being gay just means that I'm attracted to men, similarly to how most women are. It's not an achievement or accomplishment that I've worked for, so why should I be proud? Besides, pride can quickly lead to conceit.

I'm proud of who I am as a whole, not just about being gay.

well, considering that being gay and not giving a **** about people being dickheads towards the gay community usually takes a lot of mental strength, i'm very proud to be gay.

I mean, yes. I think every gay person should be proud of it. That shouldn't be the only part of you that you're proud of, but it is an essential part of you.


What I DONT beleive in is these pride parades that are just a giant mess of gross, naked men in g-strings grinding on each other in the streets and acting a fool. That's all fine and whatever on a Saturday night, but what does any of that have to do with gay pride?

I'm bisexual, but frankly i think the whole gay pride thing is quite annoying.

But anyways, I am a normal human being. I have way more to pride myself on then just being gay.

Beleive it or not guys, gay people are still heavily descriminated against this day and age. We need people who are proud enough to be able to defend our rights and fight for acceptance.
