I feel so bad for Teddy, but I'm glad he's expected to make a full recovery. As a Colts fan, though, the silver lining is that we have one more win we can pencil in now.
I really wouldn't mind a Super Bowl after the 2017 season featuring my Colts vs the Vikings! They're one of the few NFC teams I kinda like, I certainly like them much more than the Seahawks, Panthers, or Cowboys. I hope Teddy ends up being better than Derek Carr, the Raiders hype is already getting annoying and ridiculous.
And the racist, jingoistic fans that are hating on Colin need to stfu, it's just asinine bullcrap. Of course they're deflecting attention from the real issue and the real reason he did what he did, by making it about him and saying that's he not oppressed (he never said he was) and by saying he's unpatriotic and talking about veterans and blah blah blah, when a ton of veterans have come out defending him, and personally, I think it's unpatriotic to sweep systemic racism in this country under the rug instead of recognizing it and confronting it. And most of the ones hating on him are likely Trump fans, and they love him for saying America isn't great, but hate Colin for it, how about that white privilege?
And the Chargers are such an awful organization, they honestly deserve what they have happening to them, the ballot proposal for the new stadium is obviously going to fail, and they're going to be forced to move, and they're now always going to okay second fiddle to the Rams after they move to LA.
Anyway, this year I'll obviously be rooting for my Colts on the AFC side, and I'll be rooting for the Giants on the NFC side. I would love a Luck/Eli super bowl!
