I often see people at my school getting bullied with satire and ridicule and no one gets in trouble because the teachers either don't get the jokes or don't think of it as bullying unless it's a blatant insult.

For example, this black girl in my class is always called 'ratchet' and they call her 'nappy hair' and the only teacher who ever said anything about it was a supply.
