I got one question, after such an unsuccessful previous era, how did she get her hands on such a monster infectious song as Call Me Maybe?

Get ready for KISS y'all
It'll make up for her "not-so-hot" album sales with Tug Of War and Curiosity

I made it in preparation for her impending slayfest of an era. Only a week away.
She'll pass 10 million records with the opening of Kiss worldwide.

It was originally a folk song, I have no idea what witchcraft made it the most catchy song ever.

Some artists just blow up unexpectedly. She wrote a good song, and it just happened

She wrote CMM with her guitarist, and Josh Ramsay made it pop.

It's not like CMM was produced by Max Martin or any big name like that. She got her hands on it by writing it.

Although the first album I think is only 10,000 sales. But for Tug of War (the song) and Bucket, both have 40,000 sales each in Canada.

I hope the folk version of CMM leaks. I'm so curious to hear it.

Thanks! Will change, the 70,000 was stan inflated apparently because I just found a source for 10,000.

Yeah, I saw that on Wikipedia. I wish album sales in Canada had more sources. All we got for the Curiosity EP was that it sold 5000 in the first week. I would assume that it's over 40,000 now, but there are no sources.

CMM is going to top out at around 12 or 13 million worldwide, I think. Kiss is a wild card, we have no way to predict its sales accurately. Assuming it sells 5 million, then I see Carly surpassing 30 million worldwide easily by the end of the era, with some more hit singles. 50 million would be really difficult, but nothing is impossible.
