Not very well, no. I make great friends with open-minded, non-judgmental people, and I find that many gay guys tend not to fit that bill. Many of my closest friends are lesbians.

Why would this not be applicable if you're straight?

I get along with some gays, and others I don't along with.

Not at all. The one's I have had the misfortune of meeting are all catty bottoms. I have no gay friends at all, i'd rather hang out with girls or straight guys.

For the poll, it really depends on the level of stereotype. I'd say it has less to do with being gay than it is how sassy you are. I've only ever met one openly gay person and I got along with him just fine. I was best friends in elementary school with one, but haven't talked to him for a long, long time.

I would use the word "awkward" for my case. I am gay myself, but every time I'm around another gay person I get weirded-out cause it's like, "Wow they actually exist" and I end up making a fool out of myself trying to be calm and ****. I grew up in a strict Christian household which is probably why I am this way.

How sad and repressive.

Being gay, we have no set way to live out our lives, we can do whatever we want and some gays are set in a box and are afraid to express themselves, or lack the skill, creativity, and knowledge to do so.

I have hundreds of flamboyant, masculine, in-between friends and once you're able to look past societies "barriers" the happier you'll be. Live for you and let others be themselves. Have many friends and just be happy.
