Now maybe these are just coincidences and maybe i'm reaching but I find this really interesting:
So at the 2003 VMAs, Britney and Madonna performed together and during the performance the two had what would later go on to become what would be known as an iconic kiss.
Later that year Britney recorded and released a duet with Madonna, MATM, becoming the first person to
EVER have her feature on a single and the single went #1
WORLDWIDE.
Then 8 years later, Britney recorded the S&M remix, making Rihanna to first person to
EVER have her feature on a single and like MATM, the song went #1
WORLDWIDE.
The two later then performed it at the BMA awards receiving positive reviews from most reviewers and artists.
I also see a bit of similarities between the 3. They all make similar music for the most part, have been said to be over several times but proved people wrong, pushed boundaries, set trends, rihanna rebelling like Britney etc.
So i'm asking do you think Britney has passed down her crown to Rihanna and that she's now the Princess of Pop?
