Just discovered her and theres something about her I really like. As far as her voice and the actual music she makes goes, I think shes on her way to something really dope. It comes across like shes still trying to flesh out her own personal style.
Her fashion sense though is way too hyper-trendy. Shes like if early Lana, electra heart Marina, Brooke candy, and platinum blonde Lady Gaga gave birth to a tumblr baby or los angeles cliche. Fashion wise I think she needs to find her own, but at least the chola aesthetic shes got going on can actually apply to her because shes a latina and not just using chola culture to look hood for fashions sake (a.k.a. Lana/FKA Twigs/Brooke).

Tbh i think Kali is really organic with her style like it doesnt seem so fake like other artists, and rn she's been changing the style a bit, and she has talked about being inspired by the 60's, etc. And her music is so so good, she's really underrated too and yeah her mixtape is great with her samples.

Her fashion to me is so like non-organic hahah but I mean idk. Like shes obviously inspired by the 60s but I mean her and a million other people in l.a. I feel like I see so many people that look like her, they're like drones. Thats my only nitpicking complaint, I just think she needs to find her own fashion sense. Other than that shes pretty ****ing dope. I think shes going to evolve into something really cool hopefully.
