Now I have noticed this for a while now. Has no one wondered why when an artist comes up to their third or fourth album, that onced they have released it, it flops. Now this doesn't happen to massive artists like Madonna, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera etc. For example artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Ashanti and Nelly were three of the biggest artists in the States in the early Millenium, holding the top spots in 2000, 2001 and 2002. Now their singles and albums aren't reaching the heights they used to. Their singles reach the top 50, but the sad thing is it's never gonna be as big as the other hits. But now I've looked at 80's artists who used to be big, now they can't get the hits again. Chaka Khan was on UK television today and I searched her on Wikipedia and her latest didn't even reach the top 100. This could happen to Jennifer Lopez, Ashanti and Nelly in the future, and it's sad to watch their careers go down the tube. But this could happen to many more artists, which artist will follow, Nelly Furtado has just reached her high, but will not drop? Why does this happen?
Nelly Furtado has build herself such a strong fan base especially in Europe with Loose that now I think it's impossible for her to sell under 2-3 M with her next album
That's is why rihanna releases a song every freking minute.....when she doens't have another song to release then j.lo ashanti and beyonce can back to the music escene.

Sounds like a good plan to me! I mean, do we really want J.Lo or Ashanti on the music scene anyway? Beyonce can come back as long as she promises some actual music, not this tuneless Ring the Alarm/Upgrade U crap.

Yes we do want music from J.Lo and Ashanti. If you remember rightly Ashanti's first album had some amazing songs on it, as did her Concrete Rose album and Chapter II. And J.Lo, well her first album was great, actually all her albums have been great, but I don't understand why they should be pushed aside for Rihanna !

Rihanna is the new Goddess of music. No one will ever forget about her
She'll release a new single next month after Take a Bow falls to #10 (OMG!!!) and Disturbia steals the #1 spot from Jesse, then she'll panic cause Take a Bow is going to fall out of the top 10.
Her debut album was BIG too! And I really love Whoa, Nelly! more than Loose!
Itīs just a different direction, but both albums were huge
Well on the Mainstream tip "Loose" was much bigger.

Take a Bow Remix with Chris Brown
I wouldn't be surprised. She's a single artist, you know how that goes
