America’s Next Top Model’s current 22nd cycle may not be its final runway bow. While the reality veteran is ending its run on the CW with a series finale on Dec. 4, I hear there is a possibility for a 23rd cycle elsewhere. I’ve learned that a new Top Model installment is currently being pitched to cable and streaming outlets. It is being shepherded by Top Model executive producer/showrunner Ken Mok. I hear the potential reboot is being done with co-creator/star Tyra Banks’ support. She is expected to continue as an executive producer, should Top Model find a new home. Her potential on-screen involvement is unclear at this time.
Here for it. Hopefully they get a bigger budget and stop being so damn corny and predictable all the time though. You can always tell who's going home at the beginning of each episode by who gets the most screen time.
I've been checking syndication ratings and they are flopping. I highly doubt they will see a second season for FABLife.
I've only been keeping up with the series via the clips uploaded to YouTube and the even the view count is pretty tragic compared to Wendy or even The Real which has only just started their second season.
And it's sad because overall the hosts are pretty bland, but Chrissy Teigen is an absolute star.
If/when FABLife is cancelled I would love to see Food Network scoop her up.
