Over two years ago, a mysterious new artist named Fe suddenly appeared online. There was very little information, and not much music to explore. She had two songs—“Let It Go” and “Remarkable Affair”—on YouTube, and a third called “Mother Russia” appeared on SoundCloud several months later.
And then she disappeared.
Behind the scenes, though, Fe has been working independently and remaining out of the spotlight. Today she resurfaces in a major way with a new song and video called “Daffodils in Paris,” premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show and Apple Music. She’s sounding better than ever, combining a sweeping chorus with a gorgeous, moody backdrop. The visuals were shot and directed entirely by Fe.
