I think this is going to follow the US/CAN format this series though. Rylan said they were changing the format just a few weeks ago, so that might be fun to see.

I hope this series is better than the last, for sure.

Last year was shite, I really don't want another series like it.

BB13 and 14 were both great though, so hopefully this year will go back to that standard.

We just need another housemate like Deana or Gina. Someone who is a dark horse but everyone ends up falling in love with.

There's no way they are switching to the US format, that would be a terrible move and the British Piblic would nawt be here for it. There was even a little heat in 2014 after two HMs were evicted without a public vote, I'm sure people outside the UK won't get it but the thing with BBUK has always been "who goes? You decide!"

Not to mention that's how they make their money

Can't wait for a whole summer of TV carnage. Let's hope it's entertaining unlike last year's series, however!

Rylan's literal words were that for BBUK it was a "completely different show" this year and its going to be "brand new" for the UK.

I know they're usually extra talking about twists and things like that, but it would be interesting to see. BBUK's viewing figures are dropping and I don't think fans would hate a format change if it was consistent.

They definitely do need something to reignite interest. The viewing figures for the main show are dwindling.

The celebrity series is doing incredibly well though, which is weird because a lot of the time there's a fine line between who is considered for the civilian series and who is considered for the celebrity series.

There were rumours but Rylan said CBB will follow the regular version as normal this year.

I don't think he said brand new for the uk, just brand new but they say something similar every series. I do think they will make significant changes and more effort will be put into this series but I really don't see them switching to the US format. It just wouldn't work and in certain situations - i.e. remember when everyone in 2014 was against Jale, Ashleigh etc but the public were heavily on their side? and Pauline was detested, but because of how the house was the wrong contestants would have been evicted. There is no way they would let that happen. It's just a different culture to the US and I think they're smart enough to know it would not work in the UK. Plus like I said, eviction voting is where they make a lot of their money.

But they do definitely need to make some changes to the format, I just think voting to save/evict should stay.
