Destiny is a 2014 first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It was released on September 9, 2014, for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles. On day one of its release, it sold over US$500 million at retail, making it the biggest new video game launch of all time. Set in a "mythic science fiction" world, the game features a multiplayer "shared-world" environment with elements of role-playing games. Activities in Destiny are divided among player versus environment (PvE) and player versus player (PvP) game types.
Destiny's first DLC pack, The Dark Below, was released on December 9, 2014. Eris Morn, a former guardian and the only surviving member of a team who tried to previously take on the Hive god Crota, Son of Oryx, has come out of hiding and returned to the Tower to warn of the Hive prince's return. The expansion added new content centering on the Hive race and their deity Crota, Son of Oryx, who had been referenced in the original game.
House of Wolves, the second DLC pack, was released on May 19, 2015. The Guardians have grown strong, and now the Queen of the Awoken has called upon them to hunt down the House of Wolves, Fallen subjects once loyal to the queen before their violent rebellion. Their leader, a Fallen Captain known as Skolas, seeks to bring all of the Fallen Houses under his command.
The third expansion, The Taken King, was released on September 15, 2015; marking Year 2 of Destiny, it will focus on Oryx, father of Crota, as he leads a new race of enemy, the Taken. Now, Crota is dead, and Oryx, armed with a dark power beyond anything we’ve yet to face, is coming to take his revenge. The Hive army would have infected the Earth were it not for the efforts of Eris Morn, and the Guardians who heeded her warnings. Along with an arsenal of all new gear, Guardians can discover and wield devastating new powers to board the Dreadnaught and face The Taken King.
Rise of Iron is the 4th expansion of Destiny and the 1st expansion in Year 3 of Destiny. The wall which stood for centuries along the southern border of Old Russia has collapsed. I think Destiny is a good game but the thing that annoyed me was the fact that over half of the story has to be bought by DLC and the story is way too quick as well as levelling up
if they spent another year on this game it could of been so amazing

Leveling up 1-20 could be quick, but above 20 takes time, involvement and patience I guess..

I don't have it. you can get it from the gold chest at the end of prison of elders i think.. I still haven't started on the second expansion pack though because I don't want to finish the whole thing quickly. My friend told me make sure you take your time with the story

i've beat prison of elders so many times and still nothing i got annoyed because i've played trials to help people make it to the lighthouse so much to the point where i'm in the top 100 leaderboard but it started to feel a little tedious, so i decided i'd try to get a her b. in prison of elders and now i'm back to feeling like playing is more of a chore than anything. destiny and its rng is a complete bitch to me

IKR but I guess that's what comes with a MMO game, good thing they're adding new content though so it won't get boring
