Why does most of ATRL prefer Born To Die over Ultraviolence?
When Ultraviolence came out most Lana stans prefered it over BTD but non fans prefer BTD, why?

Well non-fans don't really commit to liking less easy-to-listen-to songs, so BTD makes more sense.

I don't know. I like UV more because it has the missing verse from Bible, Brooklyn Baby.

I prefer Ultraviolence.
I like the atmosphere of that album more and I feel like it's a lot more cohesive as an album.
Born To Die is nice though.

Idk. Ultra is better on a whole. As much as I like it, Born To Die is so inferior musically, lyrically etc to Ultra.

Because it's a classic and it changed the pop music game. Its impact is still felt today (see: Taylor, Selena, Halsey, their current singles).

Because it is better, UV is good but some songs really depress me and others are really boring.

I prefer UV by the smallest amount but I guess sonically, it's not as commercially appealing as BTD

Every song on UV sounds the same, so don't be surprised that people like BTD more.

I love UV more, like most stans outside of ATRL.

nnn ATRL, everyone.

BTD is more accessible to the GP as an alt-pop album. Ultraviolence was acclaimed as much as it was for a reason.

I just can't get into any of her later stuff, it feels so draggy. BTD will probably always be my fav.

I prefer Born To Die honestly.
There's something about Ultra that I can't get into.
Born To Die is a pop masterpiece.
A true classic

Born to Die
is a pop album with hip-hop influences, so it's more in line with ATRL's general taste.
