Billboard Hot 100 Singles (April 21-28, 2011)
IT'S OFFICIAL S&M is #1...

Rihanna Scores 10th BILLBOARD HOT 100 #1 Single!!
Congratulations to Rihanna on her TENTH BILLBOARD HOT 100 #1 SINGLE!
Rihanna made Billboard history as the first artist ever to have a lead single go #1 after her 2nd single ("What's My Name?" ft. Drake") went #1 on the Hot 100. Now, with "S&M" sitting atop the national audience chart with over 150 million in audience, and her powerhouse "S&M Remix," featuring Britney Spears rocketing to the top of the iTunes chart, Rihanna has done it again: her 10th #1 hit.
"Rihanna's tenth #1 single is a monumental accomplishment and a testament to her incredible artistry," said Steve Bartels, President and COO of the Island Def Jam Music Group. "This was a truly collaborative and creative effort, spearheaded by Rihanna's tireless work and aided in no small part by the incredible Britney Spears and her team. I am extremely proud of Rihanna, her ongoing dominance on the charts, and the entire IDJ team who worked so diligently to bring this one home."

Over on the Digital Songs chart, there's a lot of action, as Rihanna's "S&M" jumps 3-1 with 293,000 (up 108%) -- powered by last week's release of the new "Rih-mix" featuring Britney Spears. Katy Perry's "E.T.," falls from No. 1 to No. 2 with 284,000 (down 12%). The Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough" also is down one rung, to No. 3 with 172,000 (down 7%).
The highest new entry comes from Lady Gaga's rush-released single "Judas," which hit retailers on Friday, April 15 after it leaked to the Web. With less than three full days of sales -- the tracking week ends at the close of business on Sunday night -- it debuts at No. 4 with 162,000.
Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" jumps 8-5 (150,000; up 21%), Jeremih's "Down On Me" (featuring 50 Cent), climbs 13-6 (131,000; up 30%) and Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor" is stationary at No. 7 (130,000; up 4%). Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now" moves 6-8 (129,000; up 2%) and Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song" vaults 16-9 (124,000; up 42% following the premiere of its music video last week). Closing out the top 10 is Spears' "Till the World Ends," dancing down 5-10 (120,000; down 10%).

Congrats to Rihanna. She deserves it and I am happy for HER (and Brit).
But please, "no promo"? Like releasing a remix with one of the biggest stars ever is "no promo".
It is legitimate to do it but she only got the #1 because of the remix and since there's nothing wrong about that you can admit it and stop boasting the "no promo"-shtick.

Katy will be #1 next week, so Rih and her babies can enjoy another one-weeker.

I too remember sooooo many people predicting that Gaga would do 400k, especially after it flew up iTunes the first day. But anyway hope Judas can get #1 soon!
