I find it rather, hypocritical that Once a White celebrity Says the "N Word" People on ATRL tend to always reply with "whats the big deal" it's Just a word" "Slavery of over" "it was so long ago" it shouldn't offend you, you weren't a slave" "why can't we say it, black people say it all the time"

BUT

The second a celebrity Says a "homophobic" slur Atrl servers are crashing with HATE.....

So for those who can't see the big deal about the N word, explain to me Why you feel like being Called the "F" word is worse? (those who feel this way)

personally , both are Negative , Both are usually meant to hurt, however i dont get the meaning of the "F" word.. what does it mean? what's the history behind it that has most gay men up and arms about it?

Well there are more gays on ATRL than blacks, so it only makes sense that people are defending what they feel sympathy for.

Most of ATRL isn't black, so they obviously aren't going to understand our frustration and emotions when it comes to the N-word.

Most of ATRL IS gay though, so obviously we're going to feel the frustration and emotions that are a result of the F-word.

Can we not?

The African American community seemingly are more open about the use of the word in pop culture and use it themselves in many cases to describe other African Americans. I mean look at a song like this, and see how it is very much accepted in the African American community and pop culture overall as a result.



A song titled "My ***" or "My ******" would not be accepted in pop culture as the gay community does not deem it to be an acceptable title to call their gay friends or other homosexual people.
