Hey all,
There were multiple shootings on our campus this morning (Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA) with now over 22 confirmed dead. I would like to ask everyone to keep the deceased in their prayers and hope everything is sorted out. I live off campus, but I am not able to use my webmail or phone because of the flooding of media activity. Family of students here must be really freaking.
No official word of the shooter(s) but one suspect is confirmed dead. Classes are cancelled for tomorrow and a memorial service will take part at noon tomorrow morning. The multiple shootings on campus took place in a residence dorm and in one academic building, Norris Hall. I am so lucky - I have class in Norris only two hours after the shooting there
Keep the family and friends of the deceased in your thoughts today and lets hope that all this awful incidents are done with.
