This game is largely different from the previous versions, because roles have been pumped full of adrenaline and fear. You need to be on your “A” game if you are going to make it to the end of the game. There are a number of twists, some will be revealed now, some over the course of the first day.
I am not limiting the number of sign ups (unless we hit some over the top number like 50) Because in this high octane edition, there will be blood. Not only do campers face the Slashers, but Death is in the game and Death….cannot be stopped. But more on that character further on.
Deciding to head out on a trip together, ATRL’s group of misfits got lost and instead of camping in the woods, found an old graveyard to make camp at. While it was good since their driver iforgiveyou lost his map, it was bad because the it turned a portion of the campers into blood thirsty serial killers.
It’s the job of the campers to determine which of their friends have become infected with a bloodthirsty demon and to kill them off. In turn, the Slashers have only one goal, to spill the blood on innocent people. There is also an unexpected twist with the slashers.
Alliances will be formed in the game, but who can you trust? It will take all you have to survive to the end and there is a good chance that most of you won’t make it past the first few days. After all, a Slasher might pretend to be the psychic only to get you to kill the cop.
Important Rules (READ THESE AND UNDERSTAND THEM):
You must post in the thread at least once every 24 hours. All players who do not post for that period of time, will face uncertain doom. It’s up to you to stay alive. As the clock of fate chimes at midnight each night, at least one player will remain silent forever. So from 12:01 - 11:59 CST you must post something daily as long as you are alive. Otherwise, a randomizer decides who lives and who dies from those who don't post.
If you reveal the role of anyone else in the public forum, you will be thread banned. Depending on how far along the game is, a reset may take place for LIVING characters only. There is no benefit to anyone to reveal others.
Now that we know the group rules, we are going to the expanded list of roles. These have been supercharged. Oh and remember, this is the extreme edition, so be prepared for some surprises on day one that aren't listed here. No surprise will be revealed past the first day.
The Roles
When the game begins, you will all be PM'd your role. If your Private Messages are listed as "friends and contacts only" add me as a friend.
Camper Roles
Campers: - These are completely normal, boring, and stale people. Just trying to stay alive it seems!
Camper Janie – She’s got a gun. The problem is that it only has one bullet. If a killer attacks her, she lives but one of the slashers will be announced as wounded.
Camper Mack - You've got a knife. If a slasher attacks you at night, you cut them and live. One slasher will be announced as being injured.
Camper Maxwell - You have a silver hammer that will beat a slasher to death at night, instead of you. Unfortunately, you look like a killer to the psychic.
Psychic - Every night chooses a player, and can see their identity, except for Captain Slash. But be careful, you go off and tell everyone you're a Psychic and that you saw a Slasher, and you can accidentally tell a Slasher - giving your identity and life away!
Tabloid Reporter - Every night they receive the conversations of the Slashers, and need to try and help find out who they are based off clues. Best thing would be if they found the Psychic and teamed up, huh? On the fourth day, the player is given the identity of Captain Slash. So, you’ll want to keep him alive.
Cop - The person who can save someone each night from the Slashers, hopefully they can save the right person one night. He is also provided one bullet per night for the first three nights he can use it at night to kill someone he believes is a slasher. If he is wrong, both he and the other camper die. After night three, his gun is taken away.
Hottie – You have the chance to cast two votes. One in the thread and one in private messages.
Virgin – You believe in waiting…so you get to see how the entire game plays out. The only thing that can stop you is death. But since you are going to be publicly revealed, Death will also know.
The Lover – Your love is so pure, you can bring anyone you want back from the dead. If you do, they maintain their role, but cannot be revealed or speak in the main room for 24 hours as they will suffer from amnesia.
The Insane Crypt Keeper – You can pull one camper into safety for 24 hours. They will be exempt from the public vote and the slashers…but death can still get them and their roles are useless during that time.
The Judge - You have the power to decide someone's fate. You can choose to use your power to spare someone during the public vote or to speed up the death of one person. Your power can only be used twice, once to sentence someone to die and once to save someone. Choose wisely.
Jury Foreman - You have a double vote once during the public votes. You will post your standard vote in the main room and your second vote to me in PM. This power can only be used once in the game, use it well.
The Conman - You have the ability to con someone's nature out of me. However, all I will reveal is if the person is Good Or Evil.
The Hypnotist - You can have one player forget their role overnight. If you select a slasher you can select who they vote for that night. When you select the person to hypnotize, you should also include the player you want them to vote for.
Evil Roles
Slashers: - These are the killers the campers need to find out their identities. They will also vote to kill a camper every night, while trying to stay secret.
Captain Slash – Immune from night attacks from others, except death. The psychic only sees him as a standard player.
Unholy Slasher - You are in the vein of Michael Myers; you cannot be killed by special campers, other slashers, or Death. You may kill one person a night. If you attack Death or campers Janie/Maxwell, the attack will go unreported. The only way you die is if you are voted out or the Guardian Angel decides to protect you: their heavenly power banishes you back to Hell.
Death – You can’t be killed, but you get to kill each night. Anyone you want, doesn’t matter if they are a slasher, camper or a special role. Why? Because you’re death and you make the rules. If you choose to reveal yourself, you can. But you come across as a regular player to the Psychic and if the group kills you, you get to kill anyone who voted against you.
The Liar - Your sole purpose in this game is to lie to everyone and to stir up drama. Keep it cute of course, but start to have people question their other alliances. You win if you make it to the end of the game. You can also vote in the thread for one person and PM me a different vote so you can further deceive others.
The Creepy Twins - At night, you kidnap someone and prevent them from using their powers until the morning. You don't kill, but you don't make things easier for anyone else.
