-------Close Call--------
#35. JoJo - Too Little, Too Late
--She seriously is growing on me.
Too bad i hate her new single. :sikc:
#34. Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Dani California
--Most memorable single of the year? I really liked this song, but not enough to crack my Top 30.
#33. Daddy Yankee - Rompe
--
#32. Ghostface Killah F/Ne-Yo - Back Like That
--Serious Ghostface fan here + Ne-Yo did the damn thign on this song! This song is real tlak and simply is really good ^__^
#31. Beyonce f/Jay-Z - Deja Vu
--Seriously; this has to be the most overhyped single Beyonce has released to date, and it was orriginally a dissapointment to me, but the vocals alone carry this song for me. Definently close to cracking my Top 30!
--------------------------
#18. Danity Kane - Ride For You
--Not mentioning that I've enjoyed this song since I first heard it back in May, when the episode of "Making The Band 3" aired, and they recorded this song, this is pretty much of of my favorite songs of the year. This song is a very single song, but the lyrics are amazing (thanks to Brian Micheal cox), so kudos to Danity Kane ^__^
#17. All American Rejects - Move Along
--Seriously, one of my favorite songs of the year 9that just happened to get bumped a bit lower. I can't descrite it, and the song is really good, and so is the video ^___^
#16. Beyonce - Ring The Alarm
--Seriously, oen of my favorite songs from B'Day DEFINENTLY deserved the sucess it got on Urban Radio. Even though it failed to go anywhere on Pop Radio, thre song was a sucess, and was a step outside the box, especially coming from Beyonce
#15. Fort Minor - Remember The Name
--One of my favorite rap songs of the year? Mike Shinoda needs to drop a solo album IMMEDIATELY. This song is also amazing, and was my "motivation" single of the YEAR.
#14. Lupe Fiasco - I Gotcha
--
Myh favorite artist of the year, obviously? Syure; I thought this wasn't a good single choice, but with a crafty video, this made the perfect buzz gaining second single for his album ^___^
#13. Nelly Furtado - Promiscous
--Of course I didn't like this song when it came out, but it grew on me about in 4 hours one day, and shot to #1 on my personal countdown.
#12. Ludacris F/Mary J. Blige - Runaway Love
--Best single off of "Release Therapy", "Runaway Love" is easily going to be one of the best rap songs of 2006, hands down. The song is about many different girls running away in many different scenarious, and Ludacris obviously spits the stories so vividly, you can almost imagine it; hence why it is #12.
#11. Beyonce - Irreplaceable
--The best single to date off of "B'Day", 'Irreplaceable' is definently Beyonce's most timeless single! it never gets old and can be used very di9fferently! I think that it's easily Beyonce's best single she's released (in terms of cross-over sucess), and I can't get sick of this song. It's probably gonna be on next years list too ^___^
#10. Kanye West & Paul Wall f/T.I., Gangsta L. Crisis, & Tony Williams - Drive Slow
--Uhg. Even though the title is annoying long with all of these artists, not only was this song one of my favorites on "Late Registration", the video was as good. Even though T.I. & Gangsta L. Crisis DEFINENTLY sounded out of their element on this song, Kanye, G.L.C, Paul Wall, & Tony Williams carry this song.
#09. Fort Minor - Where'd You Go
--My favorite depressing single of the year? This song is one of those songs that quietly take over you, and this song definently had me for a while. And yes; I DO think that The Fort Minor album should have been more sucessful [/offtopic]
#08. LeToya Luckett - Torn
--Of COURSE I had to put the best Mid-Tempo of the YEAR in my Top 10! I STILL listen to this song, and even though the video was lightweight cheap, the song itself is really good. One of my favorite songs of the year.
#07. Mary J. Blige - Be Without You
--Why do we call MJB the queen of "Hip-Hop Soul"? Because she is; enough said.
#06. T.I. - What You Know
--What you about about THAAAAAAAAAT? Seriously, this song was my SECOND motivation song of the year! This definently is what got me to buy his album, "KING"
, perfect first single too!
What To Expect From The Top 5: The Top 5 definently will mark the second appearances from some artists that have made the list so far. Any predictions?
