It would be more fair to compare TD to TFM seeing as they currently are head-to-head on the WW chart.

What's the WW Chart? You only use a website that estimates sales for some countries and with no official numbers... that's unreliable

MediaTraffic is not much reliable, yes, but it still gives us semi accurate sales for the countries it tracks. And if anything, MediaTraffic is lowering BTW's sales because it doesn't track some Asian countries were Gaga is huge in.
Plus, Interscope announced that BTW sold 2.1 million in its first week WW, yet it only was 1.9 million on MediaTraffic. So if anything, your argument is going with Gaga and against Katy.

No.
I'm making a poll based on Soundscan, official numbers, official sources.
Not here for a flop website.
The E.N.D has sold 11 million worldwide and according to MedIaTraffic it has sold 7-8 million, so i don't trust it and i don't use that.
Both BTW and TD could have bigger album sales and since we don't have any official source for worlwide sales this is about US.
Also US is one of the biggest music markets and the country where both artists are from.

Teenage Dream is 11 months old. You have to think of where the Born This Way era will be by the 11 month mark (April 2012).
And BTW sales really couldn't be any bigger for only being out for less than 2 months. The US is the only country where sales have not been holding up well. The album is still selling 150K a week worldwide.

It was only in the US. For two days. And on one retailer. Interscope didn't lose a single dollar for it. Amazon gained new customers. Win-win situation. And with or without the discount, it outsold some people's albums' entire WW runs, in the US, in its first week.
