Justin Timberlake's new single 'Suit & Tie' has stormed the UK and US download charts.
The singer's comeback track, which was unveiled yesterday morning, is number one on iTunes in both countries.
The position means it is likely to top the Official Chart in the UK this Sunday and make an impressive start on the Billboard Hot 100.
Billboard reports that 'Suit & Tie' is on course to have the biggest sales week ever for a download, where it is estimated to sell over 400,000 copies in seven days.
The song will have to top current leader Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble', which sold 416,000 units in October 2012.
Timberlake's previous best US sales week was for 'SexyBack', where it shifted 250,000 downloads in September 2006. (source)
Most likely, I mean S&S finally hit #1, and I think the world is bored of 'Impossible' now, so I don't see why not, he really has struck at the right time.
It will be very close in the UK because he missed a day... He needs a 30% lead for 3 days only to remove the head start that the others have... and than only gain... it's king of IMPOSSIBLE.
In the Us he will be top 3...
KING.
