How old do you think is too old for a pop star to appeal to the general public/ young people? My cousin who is 14 thinks Mariah Carey is too old and doesn't want to listen to the queens music. I think she isn't really relevant to most younger crowd. 12-19 years old.

A popstar expires when they want to expire or when people get tired of them. It depends on the star though.

I say when you're about 45, radio stops playing your songs and people consider you to be too old.
