Arabs and Latinos both come in all colors. There are black, white, red head, tanned arabs / latinos and they both share general similarities.

is there a scientific explanation with mixing and stuff? Why do both have a huge diversity in looks? is it because the Arab race is not an actual "race" but more of an identity like the Latino identity?

My professor at uni gave a responses to a similar question by another student and I was not satisfied by his response tbh.

Because Spain was once invaded and occupied by Arabs and Latin America was later invaded and occupied by the Spanish. There's a strong Arabian influence in Latin American constructions and of course the people and the language.
