Mariah Carey to release "H.A.T.E.U" as third single
After the lukewarm chart performance "I Want To Know What Love Is", it is confirmed (at Tribeca Show yesterday) that H*A*T*E*U will be the 3rd single from Mariah's Memoirs album.
It's amazing, but "Standing O" or "Up Out My Face" were better choices for a 3rd single.
And up-tempo usually gets released after a ballad (IWTKWLI).
Hope it's a hit, maybe even a #1!
Please, Standing O, Up Out My Face , Angels Cry are mere replicas of her own past songs. H.A.T.E.U. is something different.
Ribbon could be a good choice too.

a hit or miss? To be honest the only song should be chosen is standing o instead!
wait a minute did anyone actually read the article ? It's dated back to may when the snippet of the song first came out and it's rumoured to be the first single !

I think that there is no saving this album. It's excellent--IMO tied for her best this decade--but it's definitely not everyone's taste. This would've done very well in the '90s but, well, it's not the '90s anymore.
