I just feel like 'Potomac' is so suburban and random. Like, RHONJ is also set in a small town so that's why they named it after the state. All of the other franchises are named after very well-known areas. They should have done Real Housewives of Maryland since DC has already been used and there's negative connotations associated with it because it flopped.
I see it for this. They talk about class, but they aren't, which is great. D.C. suffered from people being way too clean or just flat out crazy. This I see working better.
The trailer doesn't look that great but Bravos trailers has been trash ever since the RHOBH5 trailer. I think they stopped showing all the dramatic parts because the audience felt fooled by that trailer with Brandi "slapping" lisa and the "wine toss".
Here for it. Nice to get another all-black cast, even if they're not exactly "all black." Not here for that Peter Thomas lookalike that was in the trailer, though. One Peter is enough.
It looks like season 1 will be like S1 of RHOA, with the show focusing more on the women's live than the drama. I wonder if any of them know how to read for filth, though. Can't see this lasting if they don't bring a little ratchetness.
I think I like the Potomac cast so far. They seem both classy and a little ratchet.... But not super over the top ratchet like Quad with every word out he mouth being some sort of gay lingo.
But I am NOT here for the "I'm biracial" storyline again. Fix it Andy.
