You'd think Ben Carson would be more understanding of minorities, but:
Quote:
"I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that," he told NBC's Meet The Press.
One of the business mogul's main opponents, Ben Carson, hit the headlines on Sunday after he told NBC TV that Muslims were unfit to be president.
He said he believed the president's faith should be consistent with the US constitution. Asked if he considered Islam to be consistent, he said: "No, I do not."
If this president were to impose his Islamic values and laws on the country, I wouldn't want him to be in charge either. No tea no shade. We know us gays don't sit right with their holy book.
He says the presidents religion should be consistent with the constitution, but in the constitution it lays out principle for separation of church and state.
He's entitled to his opinion. You would think being a minority would stop you from being prejudiced but plenty of minorities have the gull to discriminate against blacks. Common sense isn't so common.
