Just heard it on the radio while riding a taxi earlier, never heard CIL in ages.
Plus people tend to know more of the lyrics to BOMT compared to CIL.

BOMT has the nostalgia factor whereas CIL is pretty timeless and still gets played at clubs and parties all the time.
I dont know, I find them hard to compare.
