So, this is going to be my first thread on the best of atrl. This is how my countdown ended by the end of year. I hope you can comment and give me some feedback.

2012 has been the year of Emeli Sandé in Europe, speacially on the UK. 'Wonder' serves as Naughty Boy's debut single. The music video of this is simple mesmerizing and charming. This song is included in 'Our Version Of Events', the debut album of Sandé, on a special edition as a bonus track.
It was a while since Snow Patrol released a studio album but this year they came back with Fallen Empires. This song served as their second single, had moderate success in the UK and made the top 20 in Ireland.
98 "Right By My Side (Feat. Chris Brown)" by Nicki Minaj
This duet with Chris Brown has been released as the second single by Nicki Minaj from the album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. . The song had moderate success on the US, peaking at 21 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
97 "Somebody That I Used To Know (Feat. Kimbra)" by Gotye
Even though this song was big during the whole 2012, Gotye couldn't make me fall in love with him. This is a multi platinum song all around the world but to me is just a song that almost can't make the top 100.
Ok, I gotta admit it. Since the very beginning of the whole era, I avoid Drake just because I felt bored with the music he was releasing. This song was released as the fouth single from Take Care and I already had lost the hope on any Drake's song from that album. Rihanna couldn't help this time.
Even though this song never was released as a official single, Fix a Heart was one of the songs that were highlighted from Demi's third album Unbroken. I can't even describe the love I have for this amazing tune, so I had to add it to my countdown and feel it as official. Hollywood records wasted this amazing album, just releasing two singles that sold pretty well worldwide. If there could have beeen a third single, for me is Fix a Heart.
94 "Beauty and a Beat (Feat. Nicki Minaj" by Justin Bieber
The third single from Believe. I just gotta say that the Biebs really surprised me this year cuz I never thought I would fall in love with his music or that I was going to take this project that seriously. The song features Nicki Minaj, and it's climbing throught the charts right now.
There couldn't be a year without a Disney Princess on chart. This year, the amazing Bridgit Mendler from Good Luck Charlie released her debut album called Hello My Name Is... and of course it had to be brilliant. Ready or Not is a comination of pop with reggae which sound pretty fantastic. Ok I'm stanning for this girl.
92 "She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)(Feat. Sia)" by David Guetta
The lead single from the re-release of Nothing But The Beat. Once again, The french DJ David Guetta teamed up with aussie royal princess Sia to make this amazing song that speaks about love, heartbreak and wolves. It is just about to start on this chart, so expect the unexpected next year end chart.
The first single from Norah Jones latest album Little Broken Hearts... The song itself is so fresh that it had to come from Norah's voice. Once again Jones makes an incredible job with the production, this time pairing with Brian Burton, a creative mind behind of succesful by the Black Keys and Gnarls Barkley.
