Best Flop (Albums & Songs)
Yes.
Since I was banned for so long (with two consecutive bans), I couldn't really ask anyone for help so I just made some crappy banners for all of the categories.
They are basically just text with a little color (or two color) background.
There have been plenty of movies to come out this year.. some flops, some great comedies, great dramas, some Oscar-worthy films, but the main point of this is...
I barely saw any of them. In 2008, I watched almost every movie that came out in the Summer and even after, in 2009 I managed to at least see a dozen, but this year I only got to see 5.. 4 in theaters, and 1 online. But anyway... here is my flop list for:
5. ALICE IN WONDERLAND
March 5th; Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter
My Grade: C-
"The visuals in this movie were amazing, as well as the cast, but yet I felt disappointed after watching it. I thought it would have been better, and I was pretty bored throughout a good portion of the film, what saved it from getting a D-grade or lower is the really awesome end scenes & the battle scene. It's probably worth a watch, but not all of it."
4. DATE NIGHT
April 9th; Steve Carell, Tina Fey
My Grade: B
"The movie was very funny, and the trailer made it look like it was going to be the best comedy movie yet. My favorite comedy without a doubt is another one of Carell's films, 'Get Smart', and I was thinking that this would maybe even top that one. Steve Carell and Tina Fey did great in the movie, it's just that it felt like it ran on too long. Some parts were pretty boring, some jokes felt like something you've already heard before, etc.. It was a good movie, but my high expectations probably ruined it a bit."
3. TOY STORY 3
June 18th; Tom Hanks, Tim Allen
My Grade: A-
"The perfect finale to the franchise.. couldn't think of any other way it could have been done. Not to mention I cried like a bitch."
2. VALENTINE'S DAY
February 12th; Too Many To Name
My Grade: A+
"The cast.. the storyline.. the switches between couple to couple or situation to situation. This movie was absolutely adorable and I could not stop smiling after seeing it. It has plenty of things to keep people interested, humor, romance, great acting, great cast, and tons more. It's sad that most people disagree with this film being good and would most likely put it on their WORST movies of 2010 list.. but I guess we just watched different movies, and the movie I saw was great."
And now... HERE IT IS... MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF 2010......
