Well, Queens normally sit back and do nothing, so yeah, she’d be perfect. LOLJK. We all whether we like Madonna or not that she is in fact the Queen and it will remain that way until she dies. Britney deserves credit for what she has done, but she was never, IMO, revolutionary or different. She paved the way for Xtina and that’s about it.

Every stanbase of any successfull pop acts call their fave Queen of Pop. But that doesn't mean they actually believe that she is the queen.
For better or worse Madonna IS the Queen of Pop. That can't be denied. But Britney is sometimes call that because at some point in her career, she shakes the pop world in a sense that only Madonna managed to do.

All Queen/King of a genre is completely irrelevant and a joke, to me honestly.

A Queen's reign doesn't last forever. This is in no way, shape, or form discrediting Madonna, because she is, without doubt, a legend, but since Madonna's career is inarguably "dead" compared to where it was, wouldn't that make her the Former Queen of Pop? I haven't seen her **** on the industry in quite some time.

I'd say Britney dethroned her early in her career, and is now struggling to keep her crown on while the likes of Gaga, Katy, and Rihanna are in line to rip it off her head.

Umm according to Kill the Lights, she's the queen of pop. That's enough proof for me.

This, it doesn't take a genius to realize Gaga is top of her game at the moment, just like Britney was years ago. Brit's still going strong, and at points in her life she definitely could be considered a Queen of Pop. Gaga is an icon at present, no way could anyone call her the Queen of Pop with justification while she hasn't even released a second studio album. She's changed the game, just like Brit did. No one could ever reach the height Britney was at purely because the music industry was so different back then, but I'm sure they could try and get close

I don't think Britney is the queen of pop at all. But I can see why people would think so since she's been around for years and years. A queen should be able to get hands on with her music and Britney just doesn't do that
