So, like many Azealia fans, I had just assumed something happened behind the scenes with the Bad Girls remix and it got cancelled last minute. The track leaked, yet the digital EP release did not feature Azealia and she was even removed from the Bad Girls necklaces.
Yet, in this video, Missy Elliott specifically mentions she did the Bad Girls remix with Azealia Banks and Rye Rye. Why would she reference the track if it had gotten dropped totally?
Does anyone have insider info as to why the remix got cancelled? Or just fan theories? I was hoping it would get released around VMA time with that Bad Girls promo, but clearly that's not the case. Maybe when M.I..A.s album drops?
