Welcome to my 2011 countdown to the best song of the year. I would like to do more lists but don't have enough time for everything, so I stick to just the songs of the year (and end of 2010). For the 5th year, I am here to share with you my collection of songs from all different genres, like hip-hop, pop, indie rock, and for the first time ever, a few Korean songs hit the chart. I have a new ranking system this year, similar to the BCS (yes comparing songs head-to-head, factoring in wins and strength of schedule, it wasn't as hard as it sounds, trust me). Before we start, let's take a look back at the top 20 songs of 2010.

The countdown begins tomorrow with songs #150-#141, and like every year, 10 songs will be posted up until we reach the #1 song of the year on December 31st. Since this years list saw a record 300+ songs competing for a spot, many songs made great impressions throughout the year but not good enough to make the list.
