The most inflated receipts here are for Janet Jackson and Shakira. The OP of the Janet base uses shipments purposefully and then compares them to the sales of other artists Even when we know Janet's sales numbers.

MJ's older albums are near impossible to track. MJDangerous and UKMIX research users (also used by mediatraffic) are the closest we have we have to actual WW sales, so I split the difference with Sony Music's shipment numbers where it makes sense to do so.
