Sweetbox is the name of an international pop group that's been successful mostly in Japan and South Korea. So far, Sweetbox has had a total of five frontwomen, Jade being the most famous and Jamie Pineda being the most recent.
I really like this group, especially Jamie. I decided to post about Sweetbox because I saw that their most recent album, The Next Generation, has been released on the U.S. iTunes. Jade's music wasn't very accessible to the U.S, but I think with Jamie on vocals, they could become somewhat popular here. The new album is great---I like it much more than anything Jade or Tina did. I think Jamie needs some more exposure to the U.S. Sweetbox should be on an American label. All of their songs have been in English.
