It is claimed throughout ATRL by several of the little monsters that Lady GaGa is the #1 global artist, with a further reach than her peers Beyoncé, Katy & Britney. However, Rihanna can also lay claim to that throne, by replicating her successes every annum (that means year)
The last two lead singles, released in the same year (WFL/BTW), was in in 2011. Since then, GaGa has taken a sabbitcal healing her hip while Rihanna has continued to flourish. Can it therefore be said that GaGa will have a tougher time replicating her own previous success, and could she possibly release a lead single that surpasses WFL ?

I bash Gaga all the time, but I think - as big as We Found Love is - she has it in her. She just has to stop being a human & gays rights activist and concentrate on making a solid POP record for that to happen.
We Found Love was designed for the radio, Born This Way wasn't.
Gaga doesn't try to "replicate" her success either.
Rihanna may be the "queen" of Top 40, but her impact will never come close to Gaga's
Are you saying that Born This Way, which sampled a popular dance hit and given a ClearChannel deal on day/week of release, wasn't designed for radio? Is it then, apparently, an alternative hit?
I'm only discussing lead singles for the moment, BUT if we take into account the iTunes Stats

Check your facts before trying it.
First of all, bearing a similar chord progression (which has been used in countless other songs besides the 2 in question) is not a sample.
What does a clear channel deal have to do with whether the SONG ITSELF was designed for radio? And I have yet to see any receipts for this supposed deal.
Born This Way's sales match it's airplay, unlike most Rihanna songs
