Adele's 'Hello' Ties Longest Reign on AC Chart by a Woman
Adele's "Hello" notches a history-matching 21st week at No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary radio airplay chart (dated April 23). With its continued command, the song ties Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" and Celine Dion's "A New Day Has Come" for the longest No. 1 run among women since the list launched in 1961. It also equals the third-longest stay at the summit among all acts.
