Since the start of this era Miley has only gained more and more fans through others spreading her videos and songs talking about how 'bad' they were. Although I found her performance at the VMA's to be an absolute atrocity to music. Miley Cyrus isn't a little girl anymore, and she didn't do anything any different than any of our favorite pop girls would on stage. She just executed it in a vastly different way. Now with Wrecking Ball, the same thing that happened with We Can't Stop is happening again here. I mean, look at the view count already. Miley Cyrus is winning, and some of you need to accept this fact.
So go ahead and spread her videos and song even more, because no matter how much you tell people it sucks, you are still spreading her work.
I personally enjoy We Can't Stop and Wrecking Ball. The songs and the videos.
I agree that she's winning, but I would give at least half the credit to Larry (Britney's manager from all the way back in the day, and now Miley's too). She was really lost and going off the path with "Can't be tamed" and her current blend of lolita + urban + partyish image is very much a hybrid of what the girls were doing in the early 2000s. Brava Miley.

I never thought I would support her after the atrocious VMA performance. But after watching the performance again and the Wrecking Ball video, I have changed positions on her.
I totally became a fan of Miley in this era. I like her a lot . I don't know why people expect from her to act like she's still in Disney and she should behave properly.
The music is good and she has great streaming power which gives her music the exposure that the radio refuses to give her. Youtube to Miley is the Radio to katy and rihanna.
Miley is doing all the right moves this time around with this era. She's causing controversy which causes attention, buzz, and publicity which give her and her music exposure. She's such a edgy artist. Taking risks, pushing boundaries, going against social norms, and being completely independent in her own right
because the world is shocked by how miley is acting, so it's attracting attention, obviously.
and the more she gets talked about, bigger she gets, the more people are going to like her. + We Cant Stop and Wrecking Ball are amazing
