So with Rude boy taking off in America and people finally warming up to Rated R(its back in the top20 on itunes
since the release of rude boy, prior to rude boy it was in the low 70's), in which Rihanna said she knew that it'd take some time for people to warm up to the new sound, what song do you think should be the follow up to Rude Boy!?
She needs something very strong because keep in mind the next single off the album will be released the middle of May, early June! Which means that its going to be the SUMMER SINGLE! And with RIhanna being "queen of the summer jam" she needs something really strong to keep the momentum going on Rated R! To keep the numbers rising in not only album sales week to week but single sales as well!
The best options for the next single is:
RockStar 101- Its dark.............but its without a doubt a summer anthem!
Te Amo- Very light, like Rude Boy! The lyrical content is a bit "Rated-R" but its very light not dark at all! Very catchy and sexy or the clubs during those summer nights!
G4L- Its not to dark! Its very tough and bad ass more then anything! I think at some point in the single releases they should risk their chanes and throw this out as a single and see where it goes! I honestly believe this would be a major cross over American HIT!
Photographs- Extremely catchy, very soft, it features a pea who owns the charts right now, and summer is a very photographic season......................so where could they go wrong with this!?
Or, last but not least, the highly anticipated, FIREBOMB- the most anticipated single off the album, the #1 fan fav single, like the most criticially acclaimed song on the album! The only thing is its really risky releasing ballads in the summer! Everyody is already saying this is her #1 off the album hands down no questons asked!
