MIAMI, FL – JANUARY 30, 2012 – The Univision Network’s premiere of “ˇQ’VIVA! THE CHOSEN” on Saturday, January 28 grew the time period by double-digit margins across all key demographics. Among Total Viewers 2+ the ground-breaking docu-journey increased Univision’s audience by 37%, and additionally among Adults 18-49 by +34%, Adults 18-34 by +33%, Women 18-49 by +41%, and Men 18-49 by +26% in comparison to the prior three Saturdays. In addition the premiere generated strong social media engagement with more than 55 million impressions on Twitter, according to Radian6.
“ˇQ’VIVA! THE CHOSEN” also delivered more viewers in the time period versus the same night in 2011 among Total Viewers 2+ by +26%, Adults 18-49 by +17%, Women 18-49 by +27% and Men 18-49 by +6%.

The show’s one-hour premiere delivered an average audience of 2.2 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 million Adults 18-49, 465,000 Men 18-49, 558,000 Women 18-49 and nearly half a million Adults 18-34 (496,000).
On Univision local stations, “ˇQ’VIVA! THE CHOSEN” was the No. 1 broadcast program in the time period among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 in New York, Miami and Houston. The premiere had higher viewership than the ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX local stations combined in Miami among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34; and in New York among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
