i mean Rihanna has released 6 albums in total. (Seventh is coming) but Gaga only two + one EP.
Rihanna released 7 albums in 7 years but Gaga only 2 in 4 years
when BTW got released she was still releasing songs from loud, then TTT came out and now a new single (Diamonds) from her new album Unapologetic.

Gaga isn't exactly slow either, she'll be 5 years into her career when she releases her 3rd LP but I think that's a reasonable time period.

Rihanna is fast, im sure next she'll release album #8 but i guess to her fans she aint and gaga is just average, so thats cool but i want new music though...

Releasing albums yearly really isn't the central issue. It's that the eras (especially recently) don't seem to have much distinction between each other and all seem to blend together. Loud -> Talk That Talk -> Unapologetic all seems like one big 'Loud' era in my opinion.

Both work on different basis
Rihanna mostly is involved in picking her own songs with on some albums minor songwriting/composition additions, while Gaga basically writes all her stuff along with the producers she works with. Gaga's album process takes much longer than Rihanna's and besides that Rihanna aims for an album every year, while Gaga releases her stuff when for her the time is right.

Im sorry but The Fame Monster is an album or was treated like an album since it had a huge worldwide tour and 4 singles released so imo gaga is about to release her 4th album in her 5th year. While Rihanna is about to release her 7th in her 8th year. Neither of them slow

Gaga is not slow in releasing albums.

I don't think Gaga is slow... an album in 2011, no album in 2012 and a new one in the 2013.

i like to think of Gaga and Rihanna as a steam train and a bullet train.

One takes time and effort into getting started, while the other just needs to have a button or two pressed to make it happen.
