Bey passes Rihanna, Brenda Lee, Mariah & Miley on Hot 100
Hot 100 Chart Moves: Prince & Beyonce's Record-Breaking Week
Beyonce moves up among women: In one week, Beyonce bounds from 41 career Hot 100 entries to 53 (as a soloist, not counting her 14 as part of Destiny's Child). With her additions, she moves from a tie, with Barbra Streisand, for the 11th-most appearances (counting lead and featured billings) among women to a tie, with Connie Francis, for the sixth-most. She leaps over Rihanna, Brenda Lee, Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus.
Here's an updated look at the female soloists with the most visits to the Hot 100 dating to the chart's Aug. 4, 1958, inception:
73, Aretha Franklin
69, Taylor Swift
66, Nicki Minaj
57, Madonna
56, Dionne Warwick
53, Beyonce
53, Connie Francis
52, Rihanna
48, Brenda Lee
47, Mariah Carey
43, Miley Cyrus
41, Barbra Streisand
40, Mary J. Blige
40, Janet Jackson
40, Diana Ross

Not for nothing but Nicki, Taylor and etc being on this "record list" don't mean anything. Whereas Mariah, Madonna, Aretha and company have charted from actual single strength versus pre-album grats that fall right after or tracks charting for a week or two then falling off those were all mostly singles that have charted and that is what was impressive about this list. Nicki is mostly just a bunch of random ass features too. That waters this list down a bit
Zero shade the B but that's what I think on this particular chart record

Beyonce brings Jack White to the top 40: As featured on Beyonce's "Don't Hurt Yourself," new at No. 28, White notches his first solo top 40 Hot 100 hit. In his lone prior appearance as a soloist, he reached No. 81 in 2008 with the Alicia Keys duet "Another Way to Die," the theme from the James Bond film Quantum of Solace. As half the White Stripes, he made one top 40 trip: "Icky Thump" hit No. 26 in 2007.
