I didn't realize her pain and injury at the BTW Ball had such a long term mental affect on her And I guess dissociation is what she was experiencing when she had that media blackout in the ARTPOP era. This stuff sounds tough, but I respect her so much for speaking out about it. There are so many different levels to mental illness that aren't talked about nearly enough, and there's such a stigma attached to them. The more we shine a light on this stuff, the more "normal" it will be and the less scared people will feel when they experience it themselves.
My favorite part:

However, I believe that the most inexpensive and perhaps the best medicine in the world is words. Kind words…positive words…words that help people who feel ashamed of an invisible illness to overcome their shame and feel free. This is how I and we can begin to heal. I am starting today, because secrets keep you sick. And I don’t want to keep this secret anymore.
As my doctors have taught me, I cannot express my feelings because my pre-frontal cortex (the part of the brain that controls logical, orderly thought) is overridden by the amygdala (which stores emotional memory) and sends me into a fight or flight response. My body is in one place and my mind in another. It’s like the panic accelerator in my mind gets stuck and I am paralyzed with fear.
Glad she's speaking up and being honest, always doing what she can to help others even through her own struggles.
As someone who suffers from similar afflictions I hope one day the stigma surrounding mental illness is non existent, so it's easier for others to get the help and support they need.
She also said she has chronic pain yet we see her wearing the stupid high heels again. Anyone who seriously has it would be told to not wear anything that's uncomfortable. She wants to talk to non famous people and a week later she's seen wearing her attention seeking outfits again walking into a grocery store having her picture taken.
The selena speech gave her more inspiration. gaga wants to be a victim so bad. if there's any mental stuff she "suffers" from its the kind that can't handle criticism and failure and then throws a pity party and plays a victim. spoiled little rich girl syndrome. shes been doing it since the btw and artpop days. This is the generation and time we are in. safe spaces, being victims, and feeling sorry for each other.

you should probably remove madonnas c*ck from your throat every now and then to let some oxygen get to your brain.

Literally what the hell is your problem with her? You have a huge issue with every. single. thing. she does, like she destroyed your family or something. She could cure disease and you'd come up with some way to criticize it. I honestly don't get it.

Firstly I'd like to know why you're in every thread, posting similar ******** as this, taking issue with any minor movement Lady Gaga makes in life, you'll throw in something shady about her authenticity when you don't personally know her, call her a liar, then hop to the next Madonna thread having a meltdown about how much criticism she gets. Are you well, dear?
Secondly, if you purport to know so much about her, what she thinks, what she wants, "Always wanting to be a victim" and whatever the hell you interpret from her being OPEN about mental illness and chronic pain, surprisingly common issues that are still stigmatised in modern society ("Just get over it!") why don't you put that same lens on everyone else? Nothing annoys me more than double standards. Hyperbole is NEVER as annoying as hypocrisy, which you display in every damn post. Some shrew rant about how Lady Gaga wants attention for answering questions about her sexual assault, what about Madonna's response to Howard Stern last year about her rape? Was she doing it to play victim and get attention? Of course not. She's strong and she's always presented as such. If you bothered to READ Lady Gaga's letter you'd understand that same principle applies here.
Go back to that cesspool MadonnaNation if you're going to be a psychotic beast.

You have no idea the type of pain she suffers from or what causes/caused it. You are not her doctor. You are not her psychologist. Lady Gaga has been walking in heels for the past 10 years, she has proper technique and the height of the shoe is irrelevant.
People like you are setting the world back. People like you are the reason that others don't want to come out for fear of being called a "pathetic victim". Then you'll also turn around and cry about ageism and sexism, so clearly this is not about a social issue but your own unhealthy obsession with Lady ****ing Gaga.

I have no patience for your ****ery. I see you everywhere trying to paint Madonna as a victim and at the same time you try to call Gaga a victim. You're no doubt 50 years old living in a basement seething at a woman being successful and dealing with the effects of her success. Log off, get some fresh air and talk to someone. Good grief.
