Rules for the 2008 ATRL Predicting Season
You can join at any time... up until December 1st, because that's when the Top 20 point-getters play for double or more.
Don't ask, just go ahead and play.
Don't cheat.
- Cheating is posting around the time
TRL or
106 and Park starts and editing the #10-9 videos when they are on the air. Come on, don't do that, people are going to check (Brandon, JGibson, Lukitoo, Cloud, TRL Girl) to see if you cheat, and they
will catch you.
- Any and all people who cheat will have 50 points deducted from their scores.
Don't copy someone else's predictions.
- If you have the same
TRL,
VH1 VSPOT Top 20 or
106 and Park prediction as someone else in their TOP TEN or TOP 20 (For VSPOT Top 20) (excluding On Deck or Countdown Contenders), your predictions will
not count, and you will recieve a -20 for the day.
Keep your cool.
- Don't argue with me about how I deduct you in certain situations (hopefully I'll never have to take points away from you-- just follow the rules).
- Try to have fun and don't get too bad; it's only a game that we have here on ATRL.

Tiebreakers: Any and all participants that are tied for the most points in a single p/d, week, month, or year are to be credited as winners.
Example: if 3 people are tied for the most points for the week, then
all of the tied participants will get credit for winning the week.
Standing tiebreakers are broken by more total TRL, VSPOT, and 106 wins combined.
Mininum Spots Filled Rule:
Minimum spots to be filled in order to count as a legitimate p/d.
TRL or 106: 7
VSPOT: 16
Anything less than the minimum stated or the top 5 slots blanked in either TRL, 106, or VSPOT: -25.

Hopefully you don't get turned away because there are rules for predicting. They are simple rules that are basically guidelines. Just follow them and have fun.
