I don't think so. I find it more plausible that the government had some sort of prior knowledge that an attack would take place but failed to take action.

There is a lot of unexplained things. Most of the families that lost their loved ones don't believe the official story.

I wouldn't be surprised but I don't see how it benefited us at all. Thousands of sad families, increased discrimination against Muslims, higher security, and etc.
