In the past few years, there was always that one song that obliterated everything else and was undoubtedly the biggest hit of the year.
Not only that, it also became one of the best-selling songs of all time.
But this year, such a hit doesn't exist. All these songs named above smashed in spring and/or summer, bit since we already have Fall, it seems unlikely that a song will explode in such a big way this year.
Why is that so? Are we past the era of big Mega-hits?
