Her performance in Crossroads was OUTSTANDING. The bath scene where she was crying I think she deserved an Oscar nomination for that scene alone. Unfair. They probably thought she was too young and too un-boring to deserve it. Those hags.
She is obviously not the best actress of all time but she does can act! I Love that movie! Crossroads is a really cool movie, but you cant really see her acting skils there, it's kinda amateur.
