The first huge update to Pokémon GO has been announced. This confirms that the Johto Pokémon are to come to Pokémon GO from today. Trainers around the world will have the opportunity to add Togepi, Pichu and select Pokémon originally discovered in the Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver video games to their Pokémon GO Pokédex through EEggs at Poké Stops. In addition to that, starting from today to December 29th, a special Pikachu wearing a festive hat will be findable for players. The press release implies that more Pokémon will be added as we go through early 2017
I just found out it's available in Canada now and downloaded it tonight. I live in a small town but I'm going to go to the busiest place in town tomorrow with my friend to try and catch anything decent I'm moving to Toronto in 6 weeks and I'm honestly mostly excited that there will be more pokemon
